Personal Data Protection

The company Allex advokátní kancelář s.r.o., company ID 245 94 440, with its registered office at Lublaňská 5/57, Vinohrady, 120 00 Prague 2, Czech Republic (the “controller”), processes personal data provided via the contact form on its website in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR").

What personal data do we process?

In connection with sending the contact form, we may process in particular:

  • first and last name,

  • email address,

  • telephone number,

  • message content and

  • other personal data that you provide to us in the message.

Why do we process personal data?

We process personal data for the purpose of:

  • processing your inquiry, request or demand,

  • establishing and maintaining communication,

  • taking measures before concluding a contract at your request, if your message is aimed at

  • provision of legal services and

  • protection of our legitimate interests, in particular the recording of communications and the protection of legal claims.

On what legal basis do we process data?

We process personal data mainly on the basis of:

  • Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, if the processing is necessary to carry out measures taken at your request prior to entering into a contract and

  • Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, if processing is necessary for the purposes of our legitimate interests.

 

Our legitimate interest is in particular proper communication with website visitors, recording delivered messages, proving the content of communication and protecting our rights. The processing of personal data via the contact form is not based on consent.

Who can access the data?

Personal data may be disclosed in particular:

  • our employees and cooperating lawyers,

  • IT, hosting, web management and technical support providers,

  • email and cloud service providers,

  • to other processors who provide technical or administrative activities for us and

  • to public authorities, if required by law.

 

These persons are bound by a duty of confidentiality or a corresponding contractual and legal obligation to protect personal data.

Do we transfer data outside the European Union?

We do not intend to transfer personal data to a third country outside the European Union or internationally organization. Personal data is stored within the email and cloud services used by the administrator in the European Union.

How long do we keep data?

We retain personal data only for the period necessary to process your inquiry, conduct follow-up communication and possible negotiations on the provision of legal services. If no further legal relationship arises from the communication, we retain the data only for the necessary period and to the minimum extent necessary to substantiate the communication and protect our legal claims. If a client or other contractual relationship is established, personal data may be further kept for a period appropriate to this relationship and related legal obligations.

Is the provision of data mandatory?

Providing personal data via the contact form is not a legal obligation. However, if you do not fill in the information required to submit the form and process the report, we may not be able to respond to your message.

Is automated decision-making taking place?

When processing personal data via the contact form, there is no automated decision-making or profiling within the meaning of Article 22 of the GDPR.

What are your rights?

Under the conditions set out in the GDPR, you have the right to:

  • request access to your personal data,

  • request the correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data,

  • request the deletion of personal data,

  • request restriction of processing,

  • object to processing based on legitimate interest,

  • request data portability if legal conditions are met and

  • file a complaint with the supervisory authority.
